A quick taste of Tamzin
A great start to kitchen skills.
I feel so lucky that I can cook, I use cooking as an extension of my own feelings, being able to create birthday cakes, or surprise meals, cook what my family and friends like when they are ill, for birthdays and special occasions, is truly fabulous. Bake at night if I can not sleep or get rid of turmoil by kneading bread! my family definitely win when I am running on an emotion.
Although you might not feel the need to use your kitchen skills this way, you will find it a skill that is very useful all the time. It can save you money, help your health and allow you to deal with food allergies or intolerance.
I find the kitchen such a friendly place, and friends are always happy to gather together with the delicious smell and tantalizing sounds of food cooking and the conversation flows. A magical place in my mind.
I hope you find this to be true for you too.
